“Lake Tevno” is a shelter located in the Pirin Mountains, on the eastern shore of Lake Tevno in the Belemeto circus, at an altitude of 2512 m above sea level. The shelter was designed by climber and hut builder Petar Packov. It was built by the BTS Central Railway Station in 1972.
This is a two-story building with a dining room on the ground floor and a 30-bed shared dormitory with grenades on the second floor. In the back of the shelter, 3 additional rooms (bungalows) were built with a total capacity of about 25 places on grenades. In the common room you can spend the night about 15 people. The shelter has hot food and drinks. It is electrified from its own generator, drinking water from a spring above a canopy, water for household needs is taken from the lake. Toilet outside.
At the end of 2008, construction began on additional premises to the shelter, the capacity of which is expected to double.
