You will be picked up by your guide early in the morning from your hotel or other location in Sofia for a memorable trip to Aleko Mountain Resort, which is a short drive from the city center at 1,840 meters above sea level.
Before proceeding to Vitosha Mountain’s highest summit, the guide will assist you in adjusting your snowshoe bindings and provide you with a quick tutorial on the basic walking skills you can use while wearing them (Cherni Vruh, 2290 m a.s.l.).
The stroll through the winter wonderland starts out with a gradual elevation, and before long you’ll be beyond the tree line, taking in stunning panoramic vistas. After spending roughly two hours ascending the mountain, you will stop for a warm herbal tea that the guide will serve before returning to Aleko Resort while taking in the breathtaking views of the Bulgarian capital. You will take a shuttle to the city after the walk, where your guide will drop you off at your location.
