Sofia: Private Day Trip to Skopje

About this tour

Your tour starts at 8:00AM with hotel pickup. With the border check, it takes roughly 4 hours to get from there to Skopje. You will receive a 3-hour guided tour once you arrive, during which you will see both the old and new town areas.

The hill fortification, from which you may enjoy stunning all-encompassing views of the town, marks the beginning of the ancient town. As you proceed, you will see various historic churches and a well-known old commercial thoroughfare from the Ottoman era.

You will later cross the Varder River and continue to the modern section of the city where you will view the recently constructed Macedonian triumphal arch. In addition, you will have an hour to yourself for lunch in a traditional restaurant. After the tour is over, you should arrive back in Sofia between 7:00 and 8:00 PM.
